The Project Tempest Podcast is nearing its two year anniversary. Learning how to shape and grow this weird thing has been intensely rewarding. Tech setup and marketing is (relatively) straightforward: the more interesting question has been how to shape the conversations themselves.In an an age of disconnection, what bridges the gap?

I don't have definitive answers but one thing I've learned is that ’m fascinated by the human beings I talk with on the podcast. I love their work, I want to understand how they see the world, I enjoy the dance of getting to know each other moment by moment. I've written more about my experiences growing the podcast here on the PT blog.

I was lucky recently to talk with Dr Tara Lomax, a media scholar and consultant exploring the nuts'n'bolts of how to shape creative franchises.
